Walking away from well-being as a goal, towards practicing it in relationship
30th of March from 15.00 to 16.00 CET
In a continuously changing educational environment, technological advancements and unprecedented social phenomena (pandemic, war, cost of living) are continuously challenging our individual and collective mental, physical, emotional and social resilience. In this workshop, we are going to discuss the ideas about the way we think and perceive the nuance of well-being in such an environment. We will challenge dominant ideas about seeing well-being as a health-informed event, and an individual goal to be achieved, and we will invite participants to interactively explore it as something that exists and evolves in an interdependent system, which includes all actors involved from children to teachers, and parents to educational consultants. We will offer some tips, on how to start seeing well-being as a process that can be practiced collectively.
