Thanks to a strong background in R&D in the field of innovative training methodologies for work-based learning, work socialization process, apprenticeship, consultancy for organizational development of SMEs, I have reinforced a cross-sectoral competence useful in international project design and management. Today, as independent consultant, I love to support, individuals, professionals, companies and communities supporting their growth, continuous development and wellbeing, valorizing the exchange of knowledge and practices, creating challenging opportunities. This frame of reference, that characterizes me and my daily engagement in creating and developing creative collaborative networks.

I am a Narrative Therapist, Storytelling Educator & certified trainer for Nora Bateson’s “Warm Data Labs”. I have co-authored the books “Beyond Storytelling” and “Transforming Organizations”, on how to use narrative approaches in education, community building, and organizational transformation. I have also co-founded “Beyond Storytelling”, an international network of educators who use storytelling practices in leadership, change, and communication. I have created an e-learning curriculum on Storytelling for the German “Green” University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf and I teach narrative theory and practices to the leaders of “GIZ”, a federal agency of the German Ministry of Development supporting the achievement of its goals in the field of international cooperation for sustainable “green” development. I am the co-initiator and co-organizer of three world conferences on Narrative and Community Practice with the title “Beyond Storytelling” in Heidelberg in 2017, in Hamburg in 2018, and in Lingenau, Austria in 2019. During the pandemic, I co-organized and supervised one of the largest online participatory projects of that time, in Brampton, Canada, on behalf of the municipality for 3,300 employees focusing on 1)sustaining the well-being of employees and citizens during online education, work, and communication and 2) introducing Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. In December 2022, my project “Climate Parliament. Narratives of the non-human”, which highlights the “climate-related” stories of the non-living beings and things, was included in the program of the 8th Biennale of Contemporary Art, in Thessaloniki and became its most participatory event.

Dr. Despina Cochliou is an Assistant Professor of Social Work and the coordinator of BSc Programme in Social Work at the University of Nicosia Cyprus. She has extensive research and academic as well as professional experience. Her research interests lie in the administration and management of social services and in social policy planning and management. She has been involved, as a project manager, in EU funded projects in various fields such as trafficking and exploitation policies and programmes, asylum and migration as well as unaccompanied children’s guardianship policies, hate speech and climate change. She has also worked extensively as an advisor of social care voluntary organisations and local authorities’ social services and supervisor of social care professionals. As an educator she has worked systematically in career guidance and skills development of higher education students as well as social care professionals. She has been consultant to the Council of Europe on the integration of immigrants and refugees for the Republic of Cyprus.

Mr. Nicolas Antartis is a licensed social worker and a certified family mediator in Cyprus. He is also a cross-border family mediator, international family mediator, and international child abduction case mediator. He holds a Master’s Degree with Academic Honor Summa Cum Laude (2019) and a Bachelor’s (2002) in Social Work. With over 20 years of experience as a professional social worker, Mr. Antartis has worked with various populations, including prisoners, vulnerable groups, and people with disabilities. He has also worked in neighborhood programs and communities and as an external associate at the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth in Cyprus. For 10 years, Mr. Antartis worked in an interdisciplinary therapeutic team as a director and social worker in NGOs for children with special needs and their parents. During this time, he also served as a supervisor for social work students.
